ARCK TEAM

Sara Mraish Demeter

Founder & CEO ARCK

Sara Mraish Demeter is a social impact entrepreneur, education innovator, and cultural bridge-builder. She is the Founder and CEO of ARCK (Art Resource Collaborative for Kids) and Co-Founder of LearnBridge, an EdTech platform designed to open doors globally for non-native English speakers through personalized learning. Together, these ventures advance her mission to reimagine education through creativity, leadership, and civic engagement.

Guided by the belief that every young person—especially those from marginalized communities—deserves the opportunity to flourish and lead, Sara has built ARCK’s human-centered, project-based programs to empower students with the skills, resilience, and networks needed to thrive in college, careers, and civic life.

An educator, artist, and mother, Sara draws on her own journey of using creativity as a pathway to belonging and empowerment. She recently earned her Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School as a John F. Kennedy Fellow, deepening her expertise in systems change, education innovation, and moral leadership.

Sara’s work connects educators, civic leaders, nonprofits, universities, and technology innovators to create scalable models that expand opportunity. Her vision is to transform education into a platform where creativity, leadership, and innovation are not extras but essential tools for a just, vibrant, and inclusive future.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as golfing, writing, skiing, painting & dancing, and building meaningful connections.

Stephanie is a multi-media artist & designer based in Boston, MA, who is passionate about making the world a more colorful and fun place through art, placemaking, and community.  She primarily works in fiber & textiles these days, but also dabbles in other mediums such as digital illustration, blockprinting, and paper crafts. Nina Nedrebo

Program Manager

Nina Nedrebo (MBA, Ed.M) brings a decade of community-centered programming experience to improve children's educational and life outcomes. At 23, as a political representative in her native Oslo, she discovered the joy of pathways to systemic change when, having spent time in Sahrawi refugee camps interviewing women and children, her resolution to improve Norwegian foreign assistance policy towards the Sahrawis displaced to Algeria was adopted by her party.

Her commitment to children grew while serving as an educator in Norwegian public schools and advocacy intern with UNICEF Norway. She went on to co-chair an international development NGO Summit at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs and oversaw human resources and payroll for 90 staff at St. Michael's Catholic Church and School in Prior Lake, MN, before becoming a 5th grade math teacher through Teach for America Massachusetts with Holyoke Public Schools.

As a full-time mother, her vision for child-centered public service came into focus while a Zuckerman Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership. Through this fellowship, she received a full scholarship to complete an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Analysis at Harvard's Graduate School of Education. Now overseeing ARCK Boston's Creative Pathways Program, she’s thrilled to support creativity, purpose and confidence in youth that grow their social entrepreneurship skills for positive social impact.
